Complete Transcranial Examination

 Spectral analysis of the mean systolic velocities within the following vessels:

  • Middle Cerebral Artery
  • Anterior Cerebral Artery
  • Posterior Cerebral Artery
  • Ophthalmic Artery
  • Bilateral Vertebral Artery
  • Basilar Artery

Typically accepted diagnostic reasons for testing include, but are not limited to:

  • Hemiplegia/Hemiparesis
  • TIA/CVA
  • Vertebrobasilar Syndrome

 

Limited Transcranial Examination

Spectral analysis of the mean systolic velocities within the following vessels:

  • Bilateral Vertebral Artery
  • Basilar Artery
  • Ophthalmic Artery

Typically accepted diagnostic reasons for testing include, but are not limited to:

  • Hemiplegia/Hemiparesis
  • TIA/CVA
  • Vertebrobasilar Syndrome
